IMPORTANT REPORT UPGRADES – Particle Count Reporting

IMPORTANT REPORT UPGRADES
Particle Count Reporting

TestOil has improved our method for reporting particle count limits to make it easier to review and interpret oil analysis test results

TestOil has upgraded our oil analysis reports to include the ISO code limits for both the Pore Blockage and the Optical Particle Count tests. The limits will now be displayed as an additional row directly above the particle count data. Customers can now see the limit that triggers the “Excessive Particle Count” alarm, but should be aware that a “High Particle Count” alarm will appear if the current result is 3 or more ISO codes above the average of the past results. Customers may also contact TestOil to set their own unique limits, to meet their own goals and objectives.

These improvements are in line with TestOil’s commitment to continually improve the methodologies and technologies used in our laboratory to help customers solve problems.

Here is a snapshot of the updates:

1. A new row has been added under the Particle Count test to displays alarm limits.

2. If a report shows both a pore blockage and an optical particle count, then a second row will appear on the report displaying both the optical particle count limits, as well as the pore blockage limits.
