Reliability Training: Onsite, Offsite and Virtual—Eurofins TestOil Posts 2024 Class Schedule

Our 2024 schedule of classes is now available for download!  We offer classes in a variety of formats—onsite, offsite, virtual, etc. for the convenience of everyone who wants to improve their own skills and their company’s performance in 2024.

Reliability training is crucial for various industries and organizations for several reasons:

  • Cost Savings: Improved reliability minimizes emergency repairs, reduces the need for spare parts, optimizes maintenance schedules, and lowers energy costs.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Reliability training covers how to collect and analyze data related to equipment performance.
  • Customer Satisfaction: For companies that deliver products and/or services, reliability is directly linked to customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Performance/Longevity: Reliability training teaches personnel how to optimize equipment performance and ensure longevity.
  • Increased Productivity: Reliable equipment will operate at peak performance and increase productivity.
  • Safety Enhancement: Reliability training teaches employees how to spot and remediate reliability-related safety hazards
  • Asset Management: Reliability training leads to effective asset management strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Reliability training fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

While Eurofins TestOil does offer classes in several formats, an option that has become increasing popular is private onsite training—at the customer’s place of business-- which is perfect for situations where:

  • There will be more than one participant
  • Employees can’t be spared for 2-4 days
  • The curriculum needs to be customized for specific needs
  • There are potential scheduling conflicts.

In-person classes, whether onsite or offsite, are usually the best way to learn. Eurofins TestOil Training Unit Business Manager Tim Skully advises, “Especially with longer certification classes like the three-day Comprehensive and CLS classes, in-person has its proven benefits, such as robust interaction, over other modalities like online.”

That said, online/virtual classes are great learning opportunities as well. “Online classes whether synchronous or asynchronous, have their benefits and are great for either short trainings or if people don’t have the time available,” Tim says. “However, staring at a computer screen for hours can make it hard to focus and easy to lose concentration. Not only is it easier to stay focused in-person, but you also get much more interaction with your trainer and other class participants.”

Tim is very much looking forward to a great line-up of new venues for public, in-person classes this year such as Albuquerque and Austin. “We do our best to switch up locations geographically each year to make sure we can reach those that might not have the ability to travel or travel far,” Tim explains. “We also pick locations most people would enjoy visiting. While the training is always the focus it’s a bonus if participants are able to enjoy the sights and great food during off hours.”

Since the classes tend to fill up fast, it’s a good idea to register ASAP. The new class schedule is subject to change, so be sure to check back frequently for updates at https://testoil.com/training-courses/ The new class schedule is available for download at

“We encourage people to register early in order to ensure a spot,” Tim says. “Also, once they register, they have made a commitment to making 2024 the year they improve their lubrication knowledge and reliability maintenance programs.”

About Eurofins TestOil Oil Analysis Training

Eurofins TestOil is proud to offer industry-leading training classes taught by qualified industry experts with a wide variety of options to fit your training needs. So, whether you’re eager to expand your lubrication maintenance knowledge and skills, need to become certified or retain an existing certification, or if you want to get the most out of your learning and development budget, we provide a solution.

Private Training

In addition to the public training classes, Eurofins TestOil offers private training classes either virtual or onsite that can offer a real value for groups of four or more people. Private training may be the answer if:

  • Cost too high? Private trainings are one flat fee regardless of the number of attendees.
  • Public classes require too much time? Private trainings can be tailored to length.
  • Scheduling conflicts with public offerings? Private trainings can be scheduled to accommodate your schedule.
  • Public trainings cover information you don’t need or don’t cover information you want? Private training subject matter can be adjusted to the specific needs of your company.

On the fence about registering for either public or private training because you don’t require or want the certification? Certification is optional and the class still provides exceptional value without the certification. The goal of each class is to increase your knowledge, capabilities, and value in the workplace.
