In this presentation you will learn about GE Appliances’ strategic improvement initiative and our journey towards reliability excellence. Making our operations more reliable has always been at the heart of our quest. One of the biggest challenges we encountered during this endeavor was changing our culture. Based on this we looked for a holistic way for the corporation to become more reliable. Along the way we learned that changing certain processes at the plant level and clearly defining roles and expectations was vital to helping everyone understand how to connect their daily work to the company's goal of reliability excellence.
