“Understanding Particle Count” is the first installment in TestOil’s 3-part webinar series on Optimizing Contamination Control and it is coming up soon. One of the many real-world takeaways will be an explanation of why particulate is the most damaging contaminant.
The first half of this no-cost, live webinar will focus specifically on understanding sources of contaminants, just how clean is clean enough and why particle size matters. The second half will discuss how to establish ISO cleanliness targets for new lubricants and in-service machines.
Presenter Evan Zabawski is a Certified Lubrication Specialist with extensive experience training tradesmen and professionals in a variety of fields including lubrication fundamentals, contamination control, condition monitoring, RCM/FMEA and used oil analysis. Evan has been a member of STLE for over 20 years and has served as the Editor for STLE’s TLT magazine and also the Basic Handbook of Lubrication – Third Edition. He was a contributing editor for STLE/CRC’s Handbook of Lubrication and Tribology, Volume II: Theory and Design, Second Edition.
