Yes, our legal name is still Insight Services, Inc. We have a D/B/A of TestOil, so either will work just fine!

Where is TestOil’s laboratory located?

A.

The TestOil laboratory and our main offices are both located in Strongsville, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Just make sure the zip code is 44149 on your package!

How do I send my oil samples to TestOil?

A.

TestOil receives samples through FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS Mail. We do not provide postage. Please be sure to close lids tightly and pack them securely. Our address is 20338 Progress Drive, Strongsville, OH 44149. Phone: 216-251-2510.

Can I import oil data into a resident software package?

A.

Yes. TestOil has a number of data import templates presently in use. If you have a particular application you are using, let us know. Our IT department can develop a solution.

How do I set up equipment in the program?

A.

Simply log into your DataSight account and go to Program Management/Add Equipment. If you would like to add a single piece of equipment fill out the form. Or download the Equipment Spreadsheet (excel file) for bulk additions. The file can be found on the Add Equipment page.

How can I get labels for my oil sample bottles?

A.

TestOil can send you preprinted labels or you can print them yourself from DataSight. Simply log into your DataSight account and go to Program Management/Sample Labels. All you need are Avery 5163 or Dymo 30323 labels.

How do I order supplies?

A.

Oil testing supplies are absolutely FREE. The easiest way to order supplies is through DataSight. Go to Program Management/Supplies and enter what you need. Make sure the shipping address is correct! Then submit your order.

How do I get a login and password for DataSight?

A.

Once registered, TestOil will input your information and setup an account for you. Your login and password will be emailed to you. If your company is already setup in our database, Click Here for your login information

Does TestOil accept credit cards for oil testing services?

Yes, TestOil accepts Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express for all of our oil testing services.

How long does it take to get results of my oil analysis?

TestOil performs analysis on all routine samples the same day the samples arrive. Your results are available in less than 24 hours.

How do I know when machines are scheduled for sampling?

Part of setting up your database is establishing a sampling frequency. You can see or edit your schedule under Program Management/Manage Schedule.

Can I get a quick review of my monthly sampling activity?

A handy feature of DataSight is the “Summary Report”. You have the ability to view all your sample activity over a given time period (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annually) and see which samples are critical, marginal and normal.

The functionality of printing labels is available through DatSight. The “Sample Labels” button allows you to print any label you require. All you need is the Avery 5163 label sheets.

How do I set up equipment in the program?

TestOil provides an “Equipment Registration Form” for sample set up. The form is available under the “General Files” button on the customer web page. We ask that you fill this out as best you can in order to improve the quality of our oil testing. If you do have a large database to set up, TestOil can accept this same information in an Excel format.
